We’re focused on using technology to create solutions that are sustainable and that have a direct impact on the communities that we service. We are innovators in our industry and we’re committed to offering solutions that improve the ease of doing business.
Our mission began with a vision back in 2000. Today, we’ve grown our team and expanded our services but the core values remain the same— to be the brand that people trust, to ensure that our team is always in a state of readiness, to think like a customer, to be fast and efficient and above all, to aim higher and push further. We’re committed to being confidential and accountable as we store, scan or destroy our clients' files.
All of our services meet industry standards set out by our international partners. We are proud members of PRISM International (Professional Records and Information Services Management) and NAID (National Association for Information Destruction), the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA).
Our company began in 2000 under the name Sunryse Shredding. Our founder, Chris Sawyer, saw a need in the local Bahamian market and began offering offer mobile shredding services. We continued to grow and expand.
We expanded our services in 2013 to include a records management division operated under the name, Sunryse Information Management. We also began our recycling division in 2013.
In 2015, we shipped 1.2 million lbs of shredded paper to international recycling facilities—the equivalent of twenty-eight 40-ft containers of disposable material, exported out of country.
We completed a rebranding exercise in 2016 to highlight the full range of document management services available to new and existing clients. We officially merged our shredding services and records management companies to form one corporate identity— Sunryse Information Management. We now incorporate all of our available services under one brand.
