Chris launched the Bahamas’ first mobile document destruction company, Sunryse Shredding Services in 2000. He used innovation to grow the company into a major player in records and information management.
Chris grew up in Nassau and graduated from Queen's College high school. He studied Information Technology at Humber College in Toronto, Canada and then Ryerson University. After college, Chris worked at the largest brokerage company in Canada, Nesbitt Burns as a trained Certified Network Engineer for five years. In 2000, he returned to the Bahamas to start Sunryse Shredding Services.
As Chief Financial Officer, Nadine manages the Accounts and Operations departments. She plays an integral part of the team, providing administrative and accounts support needed to sustain and grow the business.
A native of Toronto, Canada, Nadine graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Crime and Deviance in 1996. Before moving to Nassau, to join her husband at Sunryse, she worked as an Internal Auditor in the Foreign Exchange Division at Thomas Cook (Canada).
Fabian Fernander serves as Vice President of Business Development for Sunryse Information Management. He brings more than a decade experience in marketing, sales and project management to the role. In 2008, Fabian joined Sunryse Shredding Services as the company’s Sales & Marketing Coordinator.
In 2010, he left to become the Sales & Marketing Manager for a leading retail wholesale distribution company. There he oversaw the full rebranding and business expansion for the company. He guided a team of 13, developing marketing budgets for each brand and monitoring the effectiveness of each campaign. His team consistently exceeded annual sales revenue targets while remaining within marketing budget.
Fabian rejoined Sunryse Information Management in 2017. In his current role as Vice President of Business Development, he oversees the sales and marketing team and is responsible for the company’s market expansion projects.
Ingrid joined our team in 2013. As the Accounts Manager, she plays a key role in company’s financial department. Her responsibilities include managing the day-to-day office operations and all special projects relating to the company and staff. She also oversees Sunrye’s administrative staff.
Prior to her current role, Ingrid spent nearly a decade in the offshore banking field, working as a Senior Accounts Officer and Office Manager for Rural International Bank and POBT Bank and Trust LTD. She also worked as an Operation Payment Specialist at UBS (Bahamas) Ltd. Ingrid holds an Associate of Art Degree in Accounting from Bahamas Baptist College and a Bachelor of Business Studies, Financial Accounting & Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
